What are the requirements for acceptance into the Taxi Magic Developer Program?

The developer must contribute value in its website or mobile application. In other words, the developer’s product cannot simply be a knockoff of the Taxi Magic Application providing electronic taxi booking. The developer’s product must be providing a valuable service to users where the Taxi Magic functionality is a complementary addition.

Adult content cannot be included in the developer’s product.

What data and services will I have access to as a Taxi Magic Developer?

Taxi Magic Developers will have access to a simple HTTP API that accepts a pickup address, time, cell phone number, and a request to book a taxi. That’s all you have to do! The rest of the booking process is handled with text messages to the user’s mobile phone. SMS messages may include disambiguation of the pickup address, confirmation receipt of the taxi booking request and dispatch notification with the driver’s name and car number.

How does the revenue sharing work?

Taxi Magic Developer Program tracks completed rides generated by developers each month. We will notify you when you reach the 100 rides per month threshold. Revenue share is 25% of net revenue Taxi Magic receives. Checks are mailed quarterly, and there is a $100 minimum required for payment. Rides are reset to zero at the beginning of each quarter. There is no ride rollover from quarter to quarter. External reporting is not yet provided but may be added in the future.
